It turns out that I am terrible at blog-naming. I've ended up with "falsesound," the first phrase plucked randomly from my favorite Shakespearean poem that wasn't already taken. Also, what comes out of my mouth when I try to pronounce "Eichhörnchen." Best I could do.
I plan on blogging about books, words, society, film, and most of all language. I am currently learning German (idiot level) and Hebrew (village idiot level), and despite my non-proficiency in those languages I have acquired a vast amount of knowledge about free online language sources. I plan to post reviews of various free German Language resources, and eventually a masterpost with beauteous links, for all my fellow Geizhälse. I also want to track my Hebrew progress and my Spanish progress (if there ever is any).
